Fear, joy, frustration, sorrow, and confidence are all emotions that everyone experiences, but not all of them are displayed to the public. Social expectations, personal boundaries, or the need to be understood and accepted can cause us to react differently in public than how we feel on the inside.

On the inside, you can be uncertain of yourself, anxious before speaking, or offended by someone's remarks. On the other hand, you may act boldly, grin, or remain silent in public. This distinction indicates that you are controlling your emotions and selecting the appropriate course of action, not that you are acting false.

However, issues occur when there is an excessive disparity between one's private emotions and one's public conduct. Long-term suppression of genuine feelings might cause stress or identity loss. Conversely, developing

the ability to communicate who you really are in an honest and respectful manner can lead to more peaceful relationships.

Ultimately, emotional strength is demonstrated by the ability to balance your feelings and your reactions. It's more important to know yourself and pick your answers carefully than it is to reveal everything.
